Nov 19, 2017 · I was in similar situation on H818N,, unable to get past the Download Mode "Stuck with Firmware Update" option. I gave up after trying multiple KDZ and TOT files. Even got it checked at LG Service Center. only to be pushed back saying IC may have gone and needs repair. I thought it was not worth spending so much as I already own a LG G6.

I left it alone for two days and it started working again after I charged it. A day and a half later I was backing up some files onto my laptop just in case it happened again and I got stuck in a boot loop. I tried doing a factory reset but it just went black to showing the LG power up screen and vibrating and going black over and over.
